
ADMISSION IN B.TECH. PROGRAM (session 2025-26)
The School of Studies of Engineering and Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya,
Bilaspur (CG) is going to conduct Spot / Local level counseling for admission in B.Tech.
Program against vacant seats for session 2025-26 in the seven departments of Engineering i.e.
Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology,
Industrial & Production Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The details of B.Tech.
program are as in the table below:-

Seat Matrix for Local counseling
The actual vacant seats, category wise availability will be notified and displayed on the website
(https://www.ggu.ac.in) on 27/08/2025.
- Eligibility
(a) Must have valid JEE-2025 score card.
(b) Must have passed class XII from any recognized board or equivalent with minimum 50%
aggregate marks with Physics and Maths as mandatory subject and Chemistry, Biology,
Language and other subjects as per the respective examination board scheme.
(c) Other rules followed for allotment and eligibility requirements in Spot / Local level Counseling
will be as per University / JoSAA / CSAB business rules (www.josaa.nic.in), except registration
fee, JoSAA / CSAB fees requirements and eligibility requirements.
- Registration
1.Online registration fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 1000/- (for General/ OBC-NCL / GEN-EWS)
and Rs. 750/- (for SC / ST / PWD), payable online using the online payment link available on the
university website http://ggu.ac.in or https://ggvadm.samarth.edu.in/2025/ (link ) has to be
submitted by the candidate along with filled in online Form Without the registration fee and
required eligibility documents, the Registration Form of the candidate will not be
accepted and the candidate will not be able to participate in Spot / Local level counseling.
Candidates must submit a separate application form for each B.Tech. course they wish to apply
for. If a candidate is applying for more than one B.Tech programme, only a one-time registration
fee is required.
- Counseling Date and Venue
- Venue : Rajat Jayanti Sabhagar, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur
- Reporting Date & Time : September 15 th, 2025 (on or before 09:30 AM)
- Physical presence of candidate is compulsory.
Note: – Candidates coming late or joining the counseling process after the start of the
allotment process will be considered only for the remaining seats after his joining in
the counseling process.

* Spot Counseling (Physical Reporting of Candidate is mandatory) 15 th September , 2025 (Candidate reporting before 09:30 AM)
- Documents required and Fees to be paid at the time of admission Candidates are required to pay the first-year fee of ₹32,950 for the branches Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the time of seat allotment during the counseling process. Payment must be made online using a valid UPI/Debit Card along with the registered mobile phone for OTP verification. Seat confirmation will be done only after successful payment of the first-year fee.
Note: 1. For B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and B.Tech in Animation &
VFX, the first-year fee is ₹1,09,100, which must also be paid at the time of seat
allotment during counseling. 2. So no communication regarding fees will be entertained after the admission process is
completed. Candidates are advised to make their decision carefully before taking
admission.
- Procedure for Selection
a) A category wise merit list of registered candidates will be prepared based on JEE
(MAINs) 2025 CRL Rank of the applicants. (For the verification of JEE (Main) score
Please bring your registered mobile.)
b) Selection will be subjected to document submission and verification.
c) Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list of registered candidates
(Physically present during spot counseling) and vacancy available at that time.
d) If a candidate, after confirmation of his / her admission, withdraws his admission
then admission fee paid by the candidate will be forfeited (Non-Refundable) by the
Institute/University and no communication in this regard will be entertained.
e) In case a candidate is found to have furnished false information or document(s) etc. or is
found to have withheld or concealed any material information while submitting their
application, their candidature/ result/ admission will be cancelled and fee deposited by
him/her shall be forfeited.
f) All candidates finally admitted through spot round will have to complete the admission
formalities on or before 22th September, 2025 (e.g. Submit TC, Migration and other
important documents)
g) The decision of Vice–Chancellor, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G.) in
respect of the Spot Admission for B.Tech. First Year for the session 2025-26, shall be
final and binding.
Note:- The candidates should bring all documents in original. Website copy of the
document will not be valid for physical verification.
- Hostel Accommodation
a) There is a limited hostel facility available in the campus as there are more than
10,000 students on campus (including UG, PG and PhD), due to which it is NOT possible
to provide hostel accommodation to all admitted students.
b) Hostel accommodation is provided based on the Departmental merit list (category wise
seat reservation is followed) of the candidate and a separate list will be published after
completion of the physical reporting (Admitted students will be intimated separately) and
availability of seats in the hostel department wise.
c) The candidates admitted in the JoSAA / CSAB round will be given admission first
priority as per departmental merit list followed by the admission to candidates
coming for admission through local / Spot / university level counseling.
If an already admitted candidate having allotted a Hostel seat takes part in local
counseling and moves from one branch to another branch, his merit will get
changed (now, it will be as per the new branch allotted) and already allotted seat in
hostel (if any), will be cancelled.
The candidate will be allotted hostel seat based on his new merit in the branch of admission.
d) Formalities for hostel will be processed only after the issuance of admission letter by
the University
e) Any prior communication in this regard will not be entertained.
- General Instructions
a) Registration Form is mandatorily to be filled by every candidate. Students must fill out a
separate application form for each branch/discipline. However, the registration fee needs
to be paid only once and the same fee details can be used for all applications.
b) Students need to submit the following documents in the Form to complete
their application form:
- Filled Application form (Form can be downloaded from the link Spot / Local
level counseling for admission in B. Tech. Program in session 2025-26) - JEE-2025 Main Score card.
- Registration Fee receipt (Rs. 1000/- for General / OBC / GEN-EWS or Rs.
750/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates). - Passport Size photograph (5 Nos)
- HSC / 10th Mark sheet.
- SSC / 12th Mark sheet.
- Category Certificate (GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST), if applicable as per
Government of India format, available on the JoSAA / CSAB-2024 website,
issued by the competent authority. In case of OBC-NCL / EWS category, the
certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2025.
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) issued by Maharashtra State must be
validated by Social Welfare department (in case of SC and OBC-NCL category)
and Tribal Welfare department (in case of ST category) of Maharashtra
Government. The SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates of Maharashtra State have to
produce their caste validity certificate in the format available in JoSAA-2025
brochure. - ST Certificate from Tamil Nadu state must be issued by the concerned Revenue
Divisional Officer. - Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable, issued by the
Competent Authority. - Transfer Certificate (from the Institute last attended) [original].
- Migration Certificate (from the Board last attended) [original].
- Character Certificate (from the Institute last attended) [original].
- Gap Certificate (Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 50/-), if passed class
XII in academic year 2023 or 2024. - Any Govt. Issued Identity Card, preferably Aadhar Card / Driving license.
- Any Govt. Issued Identity Card of the parents, preferably Aadhar Card.
Note:- In case of OBC-NCL / EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or
after April 01, 2025. Certificate issued prior to the above date will not be valid
and the candidate will be treated in the General category.
c) For information regarding the vacant seats in different branches of Engineering,
please visit University website (http://www.ggu.ac.in/) on or after 27th August,
2025, 17:00 hours.
d) At the time of Physical reporting (mandatory) of the candidate at the University during
spot counseling, the candidate should bring all the original documents attached by
him/her along with their registration form. Candidate must bring two sets of zerox
copy of all the documents.
e) The students those who have already taken admission through JOSSA / CSAB 2025 in
School of Studies of Engineering & Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya,
Bilaspur can also participate in Spot/Local level counseling.
f) No TA / DA is admissible for appearing in the Counseling.
g) Mere appearance in Offline Counselling or securing a place in merit list does not entitle
an applicant to be considered for confirmed admission to any discipline unless
otherwise he/she fulfils the eligibility conditions with necessary supporting documents. lf
any applicant inadvertently allowed to give admission who otherwise does not fulfills the
minimum eligibility requirements with supporting documents, then his/her admission will
be cancelled by the University without giving any prior notice.
h) Payment of fee can only be done online through UPI/Debit Card (Mobile/SWIPE
Machine). Fee once submitted in the spot counseling to the University will not be
refunded to any candidate.
i) Candidates interested to take admission must report on the date of counseling i.e., 15
th
September 2025 in the Rajat Jayanti Auditorium of the University on or before 09.30
AM for allotment.
j) Candidates coming late or joining the counseling process after the start of the
allotment process will be considered only for the remaining seats after his joining
in the counseling process.
